XLR to Female Cigarrette Adapter for GPS

Does anyone know where I could get an adpater that would allow my GPS with car cigarrette power lead to connect to an XLR socket in aircraft?

It sounds thoroughly make-able, assuming the power supply is able to supply sufficient current. What aircraft is it, and what is the original purpose of the socket?

Sennheiser XLR Cigarette Lighter Adapter - Marv Golden Pilot Supplies
