Greetings from a newbie
Hi
Thought I would say hello.
Currently doing my PPL at Dundee and really enjoying it.
My plan is to buy into a syndicate with a decent tourer and explore the Scottish Highlands and Islands airfields.
All the best
Dave (aka AberdeenAngus)

Hi Dave,
Must be the day for newbies signing in
Recent PPL, also Dundee, waiting on weather clearing for first ever flight as a novice PPL. Assuming we have met, and talked before, hope all is going well and you are closing in on the final hurdle.
Finally got licence from CAA after, wait for it 16 weeks 5 days.
Hope to see you down at Dundee sometime.

Hi there,
Once you have the PPL, it's worth checking out Cabro at Aberdeen - they have reasonable rental rates (for Aberdeen!) - saves on the drive to Dundee if you're Aberdeen based, which given the cost of petrol/diesel these days (and your time) might make it cost effective. There are also a few syndicates based there (including ours) which usually have some places available.
Enjoy the PPL
Cheers,
S.
