Smile Sandown after hours

The Specialist Flying school at Isle of Wight Airport Sandown have recently opened their doors to visiting aircraft after 1800 hrs local (airfield closes at 1800 local).

It is on a strictly PPR basis, you need to phone 01983 402402, and arrange the indemnity form (via fax).

I believe the Pilot gets a free Tea or Coffee when s/he pays the landing fee, (this also applies for landing fees paid at The Specialist Flying School during the day), just ask for taxy to the Specialist, easy.

More airfields should promote visiting aircraft in this manner !!
IMHO

As far as I know the only aircraft hire on the Island is through The Specialist Flying School, they operate AA5A's @ £95 + VAT per hour (all in, i.e. Fuel and landing included)

You are talking Self Fly Hire I take it?
