The first spiral staircase on a jet oh my!
What interests me the most is that they've seemingly made some major structural changes e.g. the lift, and doors to get a rolls royce in and out. Or perhaps the cargo doors were big enough already?

I'm obviously showing my age here, but all 747-100s had spiral staircases.
My son, at age 4, had only ever flown on 747s until one day we got on a 737 at Changi:
"Dad, where's the spiral staircase?"
I've never flown on a 747 (will I ever, I wonder?) but was aware of old the 747 spiral staircases. I was objecting to the Daily Mail journalistic hyperbole in claiming that they were the first ever...
