Google Nexus 7 / Air Nav Pro
Being a bit of a numpty at these things I wonder if anybody on the forum has tried running Air Nav Pro on the Google Nexus 7 tablet. They seem good value at around £170, i.e less than half of an Ipad Mini and have a built-in GPS. I'm only looking for basic situational awareness and don't need planning, weather etc. I appreciate it runs Android which limits the choices. All help gratefully received.

I've pondered the same myself and I gather that it is intended that there will be an Android version of SkyDemon at some point which could be very attractive indeed.....

I guess it depends whether you want any kind of certainty about if and when that may happen!
If you want to use SD in the cockpit on a tablet now, then you need an iPad.
If you're happy to wait for some random amount of time between months and forever, then you could get an Android device.
