Jaa Nr (nq)

Hi,

Is the JAA night 'qualification' a set course of 5 hrs, or is it up to the instructor?

I have significant amount of night flying in the US, but no JAA NQ.

Cheers
EA

According to JAR 1.125(c) you require 5 hrs of night flying of which at least 3 hrs are dual instruction, including 1 hrs navigation and 5 solo take-offs and full stop landings.

Does that have to be JAA dual?

Why do it if it's not fun?

Julian, the CAA seemed quite happy to issue me with a night qualification, and all my night dual was with FAA instructors, so I guess the answer is No.
