GA Crash KSGF
Any data OTHER than current press/weather reports/analysis thereof into the loss of a GA flight into SGF at Willard would be appreciated.
There is significant conflicting information out there at the moment and a close and very concerned friend is associated with those concerned hence my post.
Thanks in advance.

Nope, you got me on that one Sir George...
Someone comes on here asking for info with no request to keep it 'off list' and I provided a link.
Surely there are other ways to do it by yourself other than going on probably the world's largest aviation forum and directly asking for info if you are that worried by the result.
A result that would have been the same to the OP whether PM'd or posted.
My apologies, HS125, if offence has been caused by answering the question posed.

London Flyer, this was a 4 seat early SR22, not a recent 5 seat model. If that related to the incident I have no idea but I believe illegal in terms of number of people in the aircraft.
I posted a link of a report with more information which is in the general news and public domain for those that seek more information names the family of four plus 1, it was deleted by a moderator as being insensitive.
The aircraft is Cirrus SR22 N436KS

Thank you for the informative links. The media reporting was dreadful, and, in my experience those peons have no mental tools to differentiate between a 'Light Single' and an A380 hence my original post in the BizJets/GA forum.
Thank you also, therefore, to the mods for moving the post for better/more appropriate visibility.

No idea what caused this crash, believe to be an IFR flight, at night, weather reported as not good (but I don't have the facts)
A family + 1 returning from a sporting event.
As a serious reminder of how careful we have to be in our hobby here is a facebook memorial page.

Sadly the Chute was not used which may well have saved these family members.
