Yes, very sad. I watched him in 1969, aged 12. Mankind's greatest achievement by a huge margin, and will remain so for decades to come.

As a kid I sat through the entire landing, glued to the TV. I will never forget it, one of the most inspiring moments of my life.

RIP amongst the stars.
