No help to you for contact details but I remembered a chart amendment the other day that said "E10720 - 28/06/2012 - LLANBEDR Add unlicensed aerodrome at 524818N 0040738W with elevation of 80ft amsl, ICAO Code EGOD and A/G 118.925".
Still need permission though....

The decision for the Llanbedr Estates application was delayed due to the appeal from Snowdonia Parks, which I believe was filed end May and normally takes at least a couple of months to be heard. In the meantime, an American outfit was interested in developing the airfield for UAVs. There was talk of a new ATZ and Aberporth doing the radar.
I haven't looked, but the appeal should have been heard by now and a decision published. The guys at Kemble can probably help.

According to a thread on Flyer Forums, Llanbedr is available PPR. It didn't give a phone number but it implies it's open every day except sunday.

Hello Good finish,
I do a fair bit of flying over the west country from the midlands and would be very keen to drop into Llanbedr also if it is possible at present.
As per Aerials post, there has been a chart amendment which designates the airfield as unlicensed with A/G 118.925.
Despite spending far too long this evening trawling the net for contact numbers or any other terra firma based contact info for Llanbedr I can find nothing.
As soon as I get a spare 5 minutes in the daytime I am going to try Kemble to see what they say. I will post any relevant info.

I spent hours on this and got nowhere
I even rang RAF Valley and they told me it was inactive and they had no contact numbers
Photos show the gates as all locked so you would have to be able to climb those even if you could/did land

You never know who amended it, but this is from Wikipedia:-
A quick google finds this: Flights could be run from airfield in Snowdonia National Park - Wales News - News - WalesOnline
Which shows the responsible person as David Young - nice chap, I used to deal a lot with him when he ran the microlight school at Kemble.
David in the meantime is clearly still active as a microlight FIC, as shown here...

With a contact form and office phone number there.
Best of luck,

In recent years, the site has been used for agricultural purposes under the terms of an agreement with the Welsh Government, the current site owners.
It was reported in February 2008 that Welsh Ministers had awarded preferred bidder status for a 125 year lease to the operators of Kemble Airport near Cirencester.[2][3] In May 2008, the Snowdonia Society, the Brecon Beacons Park Society and the Friends of Pembrokeshire National Park formed an alliance against the development of a new civilian airport at the site without a full public debate "best achieved by making an application for planning permission".[4]
This campaign has been opposed by members of the local population who are in favour of the reuse and redevelopent of the site. A paper-based petition in favour of Kemble's plans for the airfield attracted over a thousand signatures, while an e-petition from the Snowdonia Society received 156.
In December 2008, the Welsh Government gave the go-head for Kemble to take over the airfield, subject to Kemble obtaining the "relevant permissions and consents."[5] In November 2009, the Snowdonia National Park Authority took external legal advice and refused to issue certificates of lawful use to Kemble. In August 2011, a certificate was granted to Llanbedr Airfield Estates for use of the airport to test and develop unmanned aerial vehicles.[6]

I'm glad somebody brought up the subject of Llanbedr.
I'm looking at going to Caernarfon soon and checked the NATS entry on their webpage.
Its states that if arriving from the south or southeast you should call Llanbedr ATC on 122.5 at least five minutes before abeam Llanbedr ?
Surely something like this would be kept up to date ?
I'll check my Pooleys when I get home - at work at the moment.

a beautiful location .....IF Llanbedr could be opened up it would only add value to the area ... however local politics have tied it into an unpredictable position

The most recent news update for the future of Llanbedr can be found here from a few weeks ago..
BBC News - Airliner scrapyard plans on hold at Llanbedr Airfield
Regards,
Steve
P.S. I hope common sence prevails and the Nimbys don't get there way.

Rumours aplenty that in spite of plans being 'on hold', the development will go ahead. It has the full support of the local council, the Snowdonia National Park Authority (not to be confused with the Snowdonia Society) and, above all the vast majority of local residents. To dub the locals as Nimbys is a little harsh; try Dimbys.*

Friends of Pembrokeshire National Park So that's where those bast***s have gone, following their resounding defeat over our local sustainable housing project.
Sorry to sound a bit 'racist' but those self important self appointed dim wits come mainly from England. They have second homes, 'county' accents, and care more about pretty cottages and lovely views than the well being of local people.

I went in there a few times about a year ago. The guy has to come and open the gate for you etc and you have to sign a disclaimer with the Welsh assembly government for use at own risk.
It was being looked after by Kemble, I think you probably have to contact him first then the WAG.
Cheers. TD.
