Glider Collision

Was just leaving the UK FIR yesterday when I heard a MayDay on 121.5, 2 gliders had collided mid air.

Anybody know the out come? Did they get down OK?

Fingers crossed for both crews.

According to local news one pilot parachuted to safety and was hospitalised while second glider involved landed without further incident. Believe this was in Newmarket area whilst gliding competition in progress.
