Atlas control update
Hi
just an initial update from Atlas Control re Olympics restrictions
Thanks for everyone's help and patience so far - Atlas is operating below capacity - obviously due to the weather.
some flight plans being rejected so please double check before sending.
important not to arrive / call Atlas before the plus 30 minute mark please as that causes issues
if you're using a circuit exemption don't forget to use the allocated airfield squawk from Atlas rather than 7000 etc
FPL tips - in field 18 don't leave a space between the EETA lat/long and the time. The time is critical to help Atlas manage their capacity levels.
plus the system does not accept change / delay messages

Good news [except for the weather, of course!]
Does the "below capacity" apply to the flight plan processing, or only for the control sectors? I have three FPLs in the queue for tomorrow, and no reply on the first one yet, 4 hours after submission...
Not a big deal, I hope that they prioritise flight plans that are close to EOBT, but the suspense is building...
