iPad weight & balance apps

Can anybody recommend a W&B app for iPad/iPhone?

I've found a few paid apps on the app store, but they seem to be for US market and all their screenshots are in imperial units and use Avgas fuel density. I'm happy to pay, but want to make sure it does what I need before I commit.

I need an app that can handle metric envelope, fuel in USGAL and JetA1 fuel density. Also, I need to be able to fully configure and customise the envelope as the aircraft is non-standard. I would prefer an app that is designed for iPad screen size, not just a "x2" iPhone app.

I have WnB Pro.

Very nice - even if with a TB20 one almost never needs to use such an app because there is no practical way to overload it fore/aft without exceeding the MTOW.

Thanks - I have been looking at WnBPro, but can you confirm that it can use metre and kg for envelope, and USGAL for fuel, and JETA1 fuel density?

I can't tell from the app website.

I use WnB pro, and it does work in kg or lb ( and Litres or gals )and you set the fuel density - so I think it will do what you want.

I'm pleased with it.

Ok, looks good.

can you confirm that the iPad version is genuinely designed for the iPad and not just a blurry "x2" iPhone app?

I couldn't find one that covered everything I needed, so I used CalcLite, which is free, and wrote my own to calculate the cg, weight etc for the Arrow I fly. It has enough to indicate automatically whether it is within the cg envelope, including the cut-off corner. It can cope with imp gals (written on the tank for tabs level), us gals (max fuel tank capacity given in this, plus fuel burn figures), and litres, which are the units most commonly used when filling up.

It also covers duration / duration and fuel requirements for the trip.

There's a bit of work needed to set it up, but it does work well, and it's both adaptable and free of charge.

WnB Pro is not an Iphone app blown up by 2x, as so many Ipad apps are. It's a proper job.

Has anyone tried a "plog" app for the ipad to track how the flight is progressing?
