PPL training at Newcastle airfield(EINC)

Hello everyone,I've asked before about training at Weston airport and with Trim flying club, but now I'm asking about training at Newcastle airfield in Wicklow(I know I should have put it all in one thread-ahh hindsight)I'm wondering how busy it is there,is it a good place to train, how are the instructors, the reliability of aircraft etc. Appreciate any help

Flying training

Hi,

I've been looking into getting my PPL also. I'm just wondering if you ended up going to newcastle in the end. I did a flight during this summer, they were mostly very friendly, but the pilot, seemed totally disinterested and didn't say much, it kind of turned me off as I felt I was doing him a favour. I'm living in wexford and going to have a look at Cork next weekend. Anyway, If you did your training in Newcastle, can you tell me how you got on?

Any information would be great.

Thanks.

There's also clubs in Waterford and Kilkenny. Might be worth looking into, before going down the school route.

The lads there Ben, Shaun, Gar and co do a great job to make flight training enjoyable under the watchful eye of John. They have just bought a Redbird FMX full motion sim which is approved for FAA hours, with further approvals coming. Great atmosphere and a selection of aircraft available to hire post ppl through to decent touring aircraft.

Enjoy

I'd prefer to see more consistency there. Be decisive for yourself there.
