Landing On Aberlady beach.

I'm planning on touring Scotland next month and was interested in the idea of landing in Aberlady Bay beach, obviously at low tide. I remember this being touched on in a thread here some years ago. Has anyone done this and can offer any advice, do you need anyone's permission? I've always been interested in the wrecks of the two X-craft submarines that are exposed at low tide. Aircraft would be a Cessna 120.

I'd also welcome any recommendations on any interesting strips.

Many thanks DC

East Fortune is a microlight strip that is about 400 m long, very close to Aberlady.
