Light aircraft down near Ashwell

This happened lat night and the road was closed for hours. There is a small landing strip not far from the road. Best wishes to the injured man

I drove past the site yesterday afternoon. It was about 150m from the road and some vehicles had been driven across the field. I suspect it was as much as anything, closed to stop spectators.

According to other reports it was a recently completed Minimax and was based at the microlight strip at Newnham.
