Neither the 1:500k nor the 1:250k for the area have the new Manch LLR details on them. The new boundaries etc only came into effect on 8th March and the charts were published on 5-5-11 (1:500k Sheet Edition 34) and June 2011 (for the two 1:250ks covering the area).
The next edition of the 1:500k is published on 3rd May. You won't get new editions of the 1:250k till May 2013. Details here

Interesting, I hadn't realised it was moved. Flew through on Sunday for the first time, using the chart from the AIP (AD 2-EGCC-4-1) and carefully cross checking against the GPS.
I have to be honest: this kind of flying isn't for me - my passenger wasn't happy about the turbulence, I was nervous about our chances should the engine go - and we passed rather close to a PA28 coming the other way... Was very glad to climb up again afterwards.
What are my chances of getting a VFR clearance across liverpool next time?

Isn't there some sort of amendment service for the CAA charts?
Jeppessen has a section on their website describing all the changes to the VFR+GPS chart set. If you diligently (and I know it's a big IF) apply all the changes listed there, you should always have an up to date chart. To the point where you should even not need to buy a new one every year. (Although that's probably the easiest anyway.)
