Aerobatic tourer... suggestions?
blimey - need to see that perform ... presumably the 400hp+ Mp14 - hope the spring u/c clearance and prop have been calculated .
Edited to say : would like to see it cowled up first !!! for gyroscopic stuff that will be awesome

Have I missed it or was there as yet no mention of the Extra 200/300? I even seem to remember intentions to create a non-acro version of it, aimed specifically at touring?

My choice would be a Firefly M260 Swift Aircraft | Firefly Aircraft but if insurance is too much then maybe not - but will it be any cheaper on other aerobatic tourers?

ZuluAlpha ; If I believe you ,can you tell me more .... flying yet ? who and where ?
I think the aircraft is for Castor Fantoba the Spanish aerobatic pilot who has flown a Sukhoi in the past.

That looks amazing (falco home build like SF260), can this fly in the uk under the LAA? And if so could I tour Europe in it( as it's a home build?)
Who does the first test flight? I'd be a little apprehensive!

CAP10B - have taken it touring many times over the years - no snags to report :-)
Also took 2 of us to Berlin to display at ILA 2012 in fine style and good time :-)

G115? There were (are?) two at Barton. It looks lovely, so many years ago I got checked out on it. What a disappointment! Soggy handling and underpowered!
So I tried the other. It was just as bad!

I would echo the calls for the RV-7. I'm thinking of building one as I want an aerobatic tourer.
You say your in Belgium, here is a chap building one in your home country:

RV certainly fits the bill, I have been flying an 8, VERY nice for aeros, but when not turning it upside down you can fill it pretty well, has lots of bag space as well unlike some of the aircraft mentioned.
