Good books to read for training!
I have been reading "Stick and Rudder" by Wolfgang Langewiesche. I wish I had found this book before starting my PPL, it explains the science behind flying much better than any textbook I have read in half the words!
Can anyone recommend other useful books for the private pilot?

Fate is the Hunter, by Ernest Gahn....not sure I spelled his name right, but this is one of the best ever written. Don't fail to read the list of names of those who went before us.
