(canada) Is the CX-2 Flight Computer allowed on the flight test?
Hey guys,
I'm almost close to taking my flight test and I always do my calculations on the CX-2 because to be honest I hate the damn E6B, it's confusing especially for calculating in-flight.
For my canadian fellows, I tried looking up on the transport canada website and I can't find anywhere they say they allow or prohibit the CX-2. My instructor told me that I should know how to use it. I mean I can use it but I'm just not very proefficient at it.
hope someone can answer
Nick

Instructor may want to check his reference material.
Certain flight computers, including the CX-2, ARE allowed. See Accepted Electronic Computers - Transport Canada
