Is there any good book to read regarding usage of VP prop engines?

Cool

Not a book, but some fascinating and instructive reading here :

"Pelican's Perch" Index

#16 is about VP props, but I guarantee you won't be able to resist reading the other stuff too!

Regards, PP

Flying high performance singles and twins, John Eckalbar; Hardcover; £49.53

is absolutely brilliant though a bit dear. Read the Pelicans Perch articles first, to see if you need it.
