Hangar 7
I am thinking about making a visit over to the aircraft museum owned by the owner or Red Bull in salzburg, austria. Has anyone been and would recommend it?

Well, I've never actually been but there's a pretty comprehensive and positive review in this month's Aeroplane. Not the place for historic "this is how it was" tableaux and that sort of thing, I think it's more about speed machines.

I've been there this summer... an interesting place, nice aircraft, I would recommend it. They make some nice food too.
But if you go there don't make the Hangar the only point on your things-to-see-list... It is not that big as one might think. I was pretty much done with it after one hour and I was certainly not in a hurry!
cheers

Visited a couple of months ago. Worth a look in if you're in the area, certainly, but I wouldn't go there specially to see it. A few interesting aircraft, and F1 cars. Very shiny. Free entry!
Sadly they don't let you in Hangar 8, as mentioned, nor do they let you climb up to the glass-floored conference room hanging from the ceiling.
