Sabotage at Mona?

Spotted this report on the Beeb. A rather worrying development, I have some good memories of Clwb Hedfan Mona.

A pilot discovered after take-off his speedometer was not working.
"Airspeed alive" checks anyone?

Anyway, worrying development. But honestly, it may also be insects nesting in the pitot/static system. Even if you do use pitot/static covers, this cannot always be prevented.
