New flying school at Breighton

Tomorrow sees the opening of Yorkshires latest flying school.

Very encouraging message in the midst of some of the doom and gloom!

Based at Breighton airfield, home of The Real Aircraft Company The Real Aeroplane Company - Breighton Aerodrome, York Flying School will be operating a variety of aircraft, offering NPPL, PPL and IMC courses. Learn to Fly with Flying Lessons in York and North Yorkshire | York Flying School - PPL Training, Experience and Trial Flights and Aircraft Hire.
Experienced and professional instructors will be able to fully brief their students in a well equipped ground school making sure everyone gets real value and maximum when airborne.
As I understand it, registered students will become members of Breighton Airfield, so will automatically qualify to attend the plentiful fly-ins, hangar bashes and other social events. Coupled to the opportunity of right seat flights in a variety of modern and vintage aircraft from current members, this must be a unique place to learn from.
Good luck to Mickey and his team

Great news and a great airfield. The very best of luck to them, if you're local I can't think of a more interesting airfield to learn to fly from. I'll have to pop up and see what all the commotion is about.

Agree with above - great news. Pre and post training flight there is much to do and see at Breighton. Lots of classic aeroplanes to admire, friendly folk and a good cafe.
