They are now 1/3 of the way around the world. Presently in the Marshall Islands. All is going well despite some horrid weather that they have encountered. What an achievement.

Sling 4 around the world...job done!
The Sling 4 aircraft has circumnavigated the globe, and is safely home in South Africa. On one of the legs, the aircraft flew from Rio to Cape Town, non stop! 27 hours!!! They took off with 760 litres of fuel, at a take off weight of 1260 Kg, powered by a Rotax 914 engine. Amazing little aeroplane and engine.
Well done to all involved.
This is the second around the world trip performed by a Sling aircraft.
