Ah Shenington....

As a former PPL inhabitant of Swalcliffe, you give me great memories of my few but memorable gliding flights......

Swalcliffe, yes we are using that as a drop zone.........well when we fly! we flew Saturday, but scrubbed Sunday and today is 50/50...

There used to be an open cockpit "overhead wing" twinseat glider at Shenington. Does she still exist? I remember her being blue but I could be mistaking

I think the old T-21 was scrapped along time ago...but they do now have a red one that flies.

Later i flew a PA28 to Dahlemer Binz in western Germany in the Ardennes, they had several of these old gliders there, beautiful airfield for a club outing!

Well we have not had a great week, as the weather has not been great....but we have had fun. We have been karting today.............
