nice infringement
NOS Nieuws - Bejaarde vliegt door gesloten luchtruim
a small kit fox non-radio infringed closed airspace over Chicago. Nothing special about that.
Nothing special about 2 jets being sent to investigate, after all the closure was due to a presidential visit.
But the nice about it was that the pilot was a 75 year old lady, who was not fazed by the jets, just surprised at all the attention.

The US TFR's are a encountering more and more resistance, as they should. 30NM ring? Why?
AOPA and its members, like flight schools, operators and commercial users are actually suing the FAA because of all the loss of income these blanket TFR's cause. When Obama goes to his yearly Martha's Vindeyrds vacation it shuts down every small operator there for weeks. It's disgraceful.
The worst ones are actually the commercial ones, like the one over the Disneylands, lobbied to the congress by Disney. They're purely there to prohibit banner towers and airships to advertise to the public without Disney getting a cut. It's reprehensible.
I can't help but think of Ken Pontac's hilarious say:
"Show us on the doll where the government touched you".

Somehow I think this "old dear" is indeed quite a smart cookie.
Yes, Notams blah, blah but I'm guessing that this is a regular area for her to fly in and if there was some big flying event with lot's of a/c, she'd know all about it. This was just the Prez havin' a party and "THEY" deciding that a large chunk of Chicago airspace should be shut down because of it.
As they no doubt struggled to keep their F16's on their tails to escort the little Kitfox, I hope the pilots were p*****g themselves laughing.

"The biggest thing to keep in mind is that when F-16s come screaming up to you, they are probably trying to tell you something," said Norad spokeswoman Stacey Knott.
Mind you, in a strong headwind, that Cub....
