Mode S transponder reqiorement.

Can anybody advise me if I requiire a Mode 'S' transponder to fly in Germany, France or Belgium under VFR rules?

You need a mode-S transponder in Germany for VFR-flights
-in class C and D (not CTR) airspace
-in TMZ
-at night in controlled airspace
-with motor powered aircraft above 5000ft NN or 3500 ft GND, whichever is higher

In Bllguuim not reqqiurredd in clas G, might praps bee elzewehre butr I dont think soo.

In Belgium, Mode S required in Class C ( or B) and military areas but exemptions may be granted.
