Decathlon / Citabria Tires.

I recently bought a 2005 Decathlon and it's a great aircraft - except the wheel pants. They break very easily. (e.g. land on grass and catch some sod in the back of the wheel and the whole thing torques up and cracks.) Previous owner had the same problem. So the pants are off. Problem is I hate the look. The thing looks whimpy with the 600/6 tires. Someone told me put on 800's and the thing would look fantastic. Before I spend the money on that I'd like to see a picture of a Decathlon or Citabria with 800/6 tires. Any one out there have a picture to share?

Tundra tyres are a bit of an acquired taste aesthetically. Why not just route out a bit more clearance on the spats? 10 minutes with a Dremel should do the trick.
