Gipsy Major 10mk2 Engine WANTED

Hi folks - I urgently need either a ''zero'' timed or serviceable Gipsy Major 10mk2 engine -

any leads greatly appreciated -

Both of you could try Parkhouse Aviation of Camberley, Surrey, England, tel ++44276 33067; he keeps loads of zero time Gypsy parts and one or two complete engines.

You'll find Barry Parkhouse at Duxford this week, he's shipping Varsity WJ945 down to Newquay for her new life.

He's good at doing that too. I first met him when he collected a Sapphire engine (obsolete but a cutaway model so deserved to be in a museum rather than locked away from public view and abused by ATC Cadets) from my ATC Squadron after MOD Disposals singularly failed to do anything about it, (then they moaned at me for disposing of it!) then he moved the Hunter from the old Officer's Mess at Farnborough
