SEP renewal LPC in own permit aircraft

I need to renew my SEP rating though the LPC (flight with an examiner) route in the next two months.

Two questions:
1. Is it permitted to do the flight test in your own permit aircraft, or does it need to be a CofA machine?

2. Does anyone know an East-Midlands based examiner who would be able do a LPC for me? My aircraft is based at Stoke Golding in Leicestershire.

Thanks in advance for any helpful replies.

Yes, you may complete the test in your permit aircraft.

See here for a map of LAA Coaches, examiners in blue.
