Yes they do. If you hold an FAA AMEL rating then to add it to your JAA licence you need to undertake a skill test and submit the paperwork. If you are in the Midlands I would be happy to do it for you.
Not quite the full story. If you have 100 hours as pilot of MEP aeroplanes (not including PUT time), 70 hours as PIC of aeroplanes and have operational experience as pilot on the class within the last 5 years then it is as bose has said. However, if you do not meet the experience requirements, you will have to undertake training at the discretion of the Head of Training at an approved FTO and pass an approved theoretical knowledge exam in addition to the Proficiency Check. Having said that, I'm sure that bose will still be able to accommodate you. (LASORS F9.1)

If we're being pedantic, I should have written Skill Test rather than Proficiency Check but the content is exactly the same.

Applicants wishing to gain a MEP Class Rating who hold a valid non-JAA MEP Class Rating but who do not meet the experience requirements in items i) or ii) above will be required to attend an approved FTO and complete training at the discretion of the Head of Training.
