I doubt we'll ever see a report, but my money would be on a yaw damper system failure, possibly in a manner that converted yaw channel negative feedback (that you should have) into positive feedback (which can be catastrophic). All sorts of things could do that, and not having a clue about Tu-154 systems, I'm not going to even hazard a guess.
