New PPL & Student Pilot Experience Building Day at Duxford 11/06/11
I am pleased to announce the 3rd Annual ‘New PPL & Student Experience Building Day’ sponsored this year by the Flyer Magazine and again awarded for the 2nd year running an IWM Duxford Bonus Day.
For those of you whom do not know what this day is about I shall try and explain.
This day was created to become a support network and meeting place for new PPLs and students. Whilst also bringing more experienced pilots to share their knowledge and experience on this day.
So the date for your diaries is…
Saturday 11th June 2011, location EGSU Duxford Airfield
This year will be bigger and better than all other years; it will also include a fun packed day for everyone. Some of this year’s highlights include…
• Trophy & Certificate for the Furthest Flown
• Private Tour with the very knowledgeable David Hall, covering UK Military History in the Airspace hangar
• Prize Draw on the day including a set of tickets to Duxford’s October Airshow
• 2 fantastic talks covering Grass Stripping & Equity vs. Non Equity Shares – Starting from 10am and repeating in the afternoon.
As with all IWM Bonus Days you will be entitled to Half Price Landing Fee (£7) and Half Price Museum Admission (£7). PPR is essential and can be arranged by calling 01223 833376.
It will be a great day out, interesting and informative and at a fantastic fly-in venue.
To help match pilots, students and new PPLs for travel arrangements, or if you would like a more experienced pilot to accompany you on first longer trip; please visit http://www.pilotstamp.co.uk where you can register your request.
