There might be, but from a developer point of view Symbian is a dead duck.
I (bitterly) remember the debacle three years ago over the complete breakdown of the process to register keys for Symbian development handsets - it went on for months, and they basically froze everyone who wasn't already registered out of the market. Whether it was an intentional move to protect specific commercial interests, or just cack-handedness, isn't clear but it was the first and biggest nails in Symbian's (and probably Nokia's) coffin.
Stamp on your Nokia handset, and buy an iPhone or something with Android on it.
