Comfort and ease

Hi all,

A friend of mine asked, what’s the smartest, most comfortable aircraft to fly? (Private, single engine prop like cirrus SR-22)

I thought the SR-22 was fairly on the money, with its innovative screen tilts towards the PIC and side stick design.

I was wondering are there any other aircraft which catch your eye ergonomically?

Thanks all

The one built by you, specifically to your requirements with a seat tailored specifically for you.

My MCR is by far the most comfortable machine I have ever flown, but I set out to make sure it was.

No doubt it will be one with 2 doors, so one can get in and out easily.

Then you need to decide whether a high-wing Cessna will do the job style-wise; I think they look like a Russian combine harvester But nothing beats a C182 for getting in or out of especially if you are old/inflexible.

That leaves the modern designs: SR22, DA42, Cessna 400, or my TB20.

OTOH one of the 6-seaters with club seating and the side door will definitely be the most comfortable for passengers. PA46, Bonanza, a few others.
