Bidford and Enstone.
Does anyone have any idea about what is going on at Bidford and Enstone? Two nice airfields ... yet everything seems to be imploding!

I can't give much more insight from my side of the atlantic, but, as a former resident of both of those fields, I've been trying to follow events.
I understand that they have until the end of March to file the planning application for Enstone, but there is a good basis for opposing it. Legal costs could be a big issue, so hope is that a solution will be reached without going to court. The North side operation at Enstone in unrestricted and unaffected by the proposals.
I've heard very little about Bidford. A great little field if you avoid the damp patches. I hope they can continue as such.

For details of what's going on at Enstone, check out the news section at www.enstoneaerodrome.co.uk
Fingers crossed that their legal action is successful, otherwise it looks as though we will lose yet another GA airfield
