I'm a low hours PPL however i have flown both and the float over the fence should not be under estimated, you need to slow the PA28 down those big wings create alot of lift!, but don't approach to slow as it will sink like an elevator if you get below the drag line. Know your numbers and you will be fine.

On the other hand the C152 is amazing for the speed you can get the thing down to, i bimbled into NZPP the other day at 45kts!

If you have more than one friend the C152 is probably not for you!
