EFB for iPad

I'm looking for a good Electronic Flight Bag for my iPad. Its only for Flight Sim however I am starting to have flying lessons and may want to make more use going forward but for now I am after the largest coverage of UK and USA airports Aerodrome, Approach, ILS, STARS, SIDS Charts available on the iPad preferreably as an app. The ones I have come across so far are:-

Apps
----
NavTech iCharts - can't find this application to install. Can anyone point me in the direction of this (can't find it in the app store)?
Jeppensen - need a serial number - how much are these ? I suspect they are expensive
ForeFlight - I have this one and this is very USA based, however you can download PDF charts in the app - Ideally want something that allows downloading of UK charts without having to manually get them

I used to use VATSIM Charts online but this has stopped working for UK since the NATS-UK site changed the links to their charts to randomly generated ones and now the web site can't link to then..

I would like to use Navigraph as they appear to have a large coverage but it is only available as an app on the PC and not the iPad (which I will be using to run FSX so can't really refer to them).. Are they releasing an iPad app? If not is there any slick way to get their charts on an iPad?

I also have PilotWizzPro on the iPhone and I used to be able to get the charts on this however this fails to work now again due to NATS-UK making a change to their site and how the charts are accessed.

I would really appreciate your help in finding a suitable application or method of accessing these..

I look forward to your feedback.

Regards
Mark

Hi,

Regarding Jeppensen prices see Digital IFR / VFR Charts for Your iPad - Jeppesen Mobile TC | JeppDirect Aviation Store

As far as I can gather you get the serial number if you purchase Jepp View,

see Electronic Charts for prices. There are links to European maps too.

Note, I am far from an expert on this
, although I am interested in looking into using the iPad myself also.

Also, I see from AOPA that the FAA has authorized a US Jet charter company to use the Jeppensen option AOPA Online: Jet charter to use Jeppesen iPad app in lieu of paper charts

You could use CIS Flight.

CISflight IFR - ECAC countries, one week | CIS-Computer GmbH

Download all of the AIP for each country and open in GoodReader on the Ipad. Just make sure that you do all of your downloading in the 1 week that the 44 Euro payment covers.

The data will become out of date, but if you aren't using it in the aircraft, this won't matter very much. Just pay another 44 Euros when you want the newer data.

No US coverage though

Are these chaps just indexing or re-formatting the existing AIP PDF documents available for free from the various AIS portals and charging a healthy chunk for them?

I guess I could, I was really after something that was native to the iphone or ipad.

Is there a way to get Jeppesen subscription to their charts but for flight sim use only? I am hoping this would be a cheaper alternative. Their app looks great just very expensive for sim use...
