Best place for FIC

Looking around for the best place to do the FIC (Flight Instuctor Course) in the South of England. Just wondered if anyone could shed some light on to what would be the best place to do the course? I.e. Friendliness, value for money, best instructors and area/airspace etc.

Many Thanks

Thumbs up

Ontrack at Wellesbourne hard to beat, not maybe the cheapest but good value for money.

There are some weird applications of the 'South of England' - last time I checked Wellesborne (lovely place that it is!) wasn't exactly in the South. Unless Ryanair have started flying there and it has suddenly become London Wellesborne International!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

On a serious note:

Go see Ian or Eva at The Pilot Centre, Denham, Caroline at Wycombe Air Centre (if shes back from leave!), Sandra at Airways at Wycombe or Carol at Andrewsfield to name a few. All friendly. All exceptional value for money (some more than others) and all within easy reach of nice airspace.

FIC

I know it's not in the South (except for northerners) but you could look at Leicester who have also been known to offer some newly qualified instructors jobs too

I'd second the vote for On Track, even though they might stretch the definition of "south". I believe they've branched out a bit since I did my training there, but at the time they specialised in FIC training, which is what atttracted me to them. (That, and a recommendation from someone I trusted.)
