Madrid

I would apreciate some help from anyone with GA experience in the Madrid area.
I want to do some flying over there, possibly out of Cuatro Vientos, but the main criteria is reliable outfit that will rent a PA28.
I know there have been threads on this in the past but I would be interested to hear recent information.

thanks. have you used them recently? i googled them but couldnt find a live website, they were the subject of a pprune thread in 2008 in which a lot of the students were claiming they had certain operational problems in need of fixing.

No sorry I have never used them I last visited Cuatro Vientos in 2009 and they seemed to be the major Pa 28 owner on the ramp, the fleet is all painted in the same scheme.
There is an active web site with a contact mail
aeromadrid

Have you tried posting on the Spanish forum someone there might know some of the smaller operators.

Aeromadrid was closed some months ago, more than one year I would say.

If you want to rent a PA28, I reccomend with no doubt "Club de Vuelo TAS". You can take one Pa-28-181 with a decent 180hp engine for a bit less than 150 euros wet (with instructor for 20 euros more).

Their web is here. Only in spanish, but you can give them a call (+34 913 094 298) and they will attend you in english.

Take into account that you need to pay 30 euros per month as 'membership fee', but if you're going to rent several hours this fee get diluted and it is still a very good price per flight hour .
