Flaps Podcast - Winter 2011

I know some of you here have enjoyed previous ones, so I'm pleased to say that we've released a new edition of Flaps. Almost adopting a pre-Julian calendar and conveniently pretending that November and December don't exist, we're calling it "Winter 2011". I'm sorry if the wait for this one has been a little long.

In this edition we speak to the pilot of the PA28 that came down near Wellesbourne in December. Too rarely do we get to hear (literally) what a pilot in this situation has to say. Well it's a bit of a scoop and on this occasion you can.

We find out about flying in winter weather with aviation weatherman Simon Keeling. Pablo Mason talks about an ejection that went wrong, but ended up right. And this edition's Celebrity Pilot is a singer with female vocal group All Angels.

As ever the best place to find it is at http://www.flapspodcast.com. You can listen online there or download it as an mp3.

It's also on iTunes. Searching for Flaps doesn't always find the latest edition, so clicking on this link might make it work: Flaps Podcast - Download free podcast episodes by Flaps Podcast on iTunes.

Thanks

Mark

I listen to pretty much all the aviation podcasts out there, and I have to say this one is one of the best. It's professionally done, it interviews interesting pilots as guests and it has good recurring contributions to give it that familiar feel. I just wish there were more of them!

Great stuff chaps, keep up the good work. How about an interview with Mark Evans (a plane is born)?
