Snow Fun in Tiger Club Turbs

YouTube - Ski Turb

Woohoo! I wish I could say this was me, but it was the Turb team that made the vid. Talk about cool!

(And I tried, and tried, and tried to get that embed thingy to work )

That looks sooooo much fun; I shudder to think what the temperature was with the windchill factor. You could get frostbite really quickly; well done you intrepid aviators.

Now that looks like fun! The south east looking great as ever under a blanket of snow. Can't wait to get flying from Headcorn again.

Fantastic !!!
I had 10 brilliant years with the good ol' Tiger Club in the 80's , and the Turb has always been one of my favourite planes. Hard to describe the enjoyment of bimbling around in the open cockpit on a summers evening.
.... never did get to fky on skis though..
Now Luscombing at WW. Hvae to put that on skis maybe ....

Ski Turbs / Preheat

Great shots of great aircraft continuing to proove what fun you can have with a proper aircraft and a VW engine.
The "Engine Preheat" thread should have been diverted here (before it lost its way) just to show them what happens in the real world.
