Aircraft lease
Hi all,
I have been in touch with Keith from big red kite about leasing a pa-28 to do some hours. I just wondered if there are any other schemes like this around? Seems a good deal and he is very flexible with the lease.
Cheers,
Craigyd

PA28-140 with a 160
Craig - I've just had the new ARC issued, so my a/c could be suitable/available if we can agree terms. Its a decent bit of kit with a new engine 160hp!
How many hours do you envisage doing?
How long do you envisage needing the a/c for?
Where will you hangar it?
Over to you, PM me, pse.

I know of one maintenance company which will block lease an AA5 to you for a very good dry rate. It is their "air taxi" they use to ferry people home when they drop their aircraft off for maintenance and is extremely well maintained but hardly ever used. If you lease it from their home airfield that is all you pay (I believe it is about 44 quid per hour based on a 50 hr block). There is a CRI available for the checkout (no charge for CRI) and /or additional training if you feel it is required. They don't mind the aeroplane being relocated if required either. I think they might now have a PA28 as well, which has new engine and avionics.
