What time did this happen? We didn't hear a thing..

I was in the circuit at Thames on Friday, wasn't the best wx in the morning (about 2500 ft BKN, 25 km reducing to 4000M in showers and rain), but cleared up beautifully in the afternoon...

FRR crashed at the hands of its owner in 2000 when landing in windshear. Where did you get this info.

Tis true . Apologies for doubting you! Picked up the NZ Herald, and there she was, the tail floating in the Firth of Thames, her yellow trim and black registration unmistakable. Two write offs in one year, talk about an unlucky aeroplane. Did a few flights in her a few years ago.

Oh hey, our Firth of Thames is the same muddy colour as yours but has some of the most stunning scenery around it. Not concrete history, but geological art. And we don't pump our cr*p into our Thames either.
