Post FREE PPL

Hi guys,

I was reading "Today's Pilot" and there's an advert for 3 full PPL Cadetship available.

Closing date 30th March 2002.

Application through website:

www.caeairparc.com/cadetship

As I already have a PPL I will not apply but I did think of you guys who are looking to do the first step.

good luck!!

PI

I have registered my interest in this after seeing the ad in Today's Pilot. An excellent opportunity for those in a similar position to myself! Get on there and apply, as I'm sure competiton will be fierce!

Mike

Question

The title of this thread says "FREE PPL", but Caernarfon Airparc website does not mention "FREE", just "Three Full PPL Cadetships".. .The online application form asks for "Previous Employment - tick areas with 3 months' work experience of" & lists 8 areas of employment.. .Compare these to the facilities at Caerarfon Airparc:-. .Restaurant, Snack-bar, Licenced Bar, Office & Flying School Admin, Shop (in Museum), Aircraft Maintenance, & surrounded by farmland!. .They say that there is no such thing as a free lunch .... or am I just a cynical old beancounter?

The advert in Today's Pilot was headed "FREE PPL!" But I don't care if I have to work for it! The offer seems very good, perhaps too good...We will see, I suppose.
