Stapleford and the need for a hard surface

well they got half way with it!! 2 rumours I've heard...
1) not enough money made last year to finish the job...
and/or
2) at a meeting with locals, they said they wanted to extend the runway instead of saying they wanted to resurface it!!

I reiterate - ONLY RUMOURS!

I started flying at Stapleford. Great place. Thanks for the memories. I finished my PPL in Australia.
