Where to go....??

Evening Ppruners... Day off tomorrow. Aeroplane all mine... Want to go somewhere within an hour (100NM) flying time of bournemouth for a day out with the missus and youngest (2 yr old PUT)....

Anyone know of a good family day out with airfield (min 600m) close by?

Channel islands? You wouldnt organise it in time if you are off tomorrow.Polzeath(roserrow), nearer than perranporth, but a rip off £20 lasnding fee and PPR, but its a 23 min walk to the surf unlike perranporth. Otherwise bolt head, salcombe, £10 landing and excellent condition strip and walk along the coastpath into south sands.

Not going to walk far with a 2 yr old.
Last time I went, a rental car was the same price as two taxi trips.

Wimp! I've walked round the whole Island with a 2 year old on my back before now. Mind you said two year old is now 27 and better placed to carry me!
