Well done RC. Finally mate. Hope you enjoy the flying down that neck of the woods.
Hows the RAF application going (my names changed to protect the innocent but we had a chat a while ago on the chat thingy).
Get yourself upside down mate and quick!

You know what, Rusty? I got my PPL in 1982, and the description of your test flight scares me! I think I'd have given up before I started if I'd thought I was going to have to do all that!
My GFT had no spiral dives, one PFL, one "normal" and one flapless approach, and no "getting lost". No hood, no VORs to ident, two stalls, and all over in one hour ten minutes.
Done it all since, but gradually...
Anyway, congratulations, and enjoy it! Hope to meet up with you somewhere, someday.
