Red face Worlds Oldest Pilot?

Watched an article on pay tv last night whereas the storey was on a 93 year old PPL holder?

The old bloke looked good in action delivering his local paper by throwing out the window.

Would this be the oldest PPL CPPL ?

Wink

I'm not sure about age, but there is a student pilot in the States who was originally taught by one of the Wright Bros. He let his license lapse at the insistence of his new wife. Since she died he decided to return to flying and has since soloed.

There was an article in 'Pilot' a while ago about a 100 year old ppl. If I remember rightly there wasn't enough room on his FAA medical certificate to type in the full 1899 date, instead of the usual last 2 digits.
