Might sound a strange question but does anyone know where I might find a new "fascia" for my C172 panel.
I mean the bit that always looks tatty in all older planes that the instruments poke through. I've looked everywhere and no luck so far.

Aircraft Spruce & Specialty Company (I think that is the correct name)here in the US do that kind of stuff. Based somewhere in California.
Maybe do a search under Aircraft Spruce. They have a website and a bloody great catalogue full of stuff.

They have a branch in the UK and are very helpful in getting parts shipped quickly.
You could also try Light Aero. I got interior panels from them 5-6 years ago for a 150.
Both of the above advertise regulary in Pilot.
